Parent Coaching with Essence

Since 2016, I’ve been helping my parents through their barriers. I help my clients through developing a understanding of their barriers that impact their habits and lifestyle choices. I will  work with you to identify life and mindfulness skills to help you be your best self that will translate into your work as a parent. As a certified Parent Coach, I aim to help you create a satisfying peaceful life within yourself first that prioritizes you. We will generalize to the work in your parent-child  relationship. We work to validate and change the parts of you as a parent that present as obstacles in your relationships. We work to celebrate your wins and find compassion for your struggles. It’s time to start creating a life with your children that you feel is worth living everyday.

I know you are tired and fatigued with the current relationship you have with your children. My work with you as a parent coach is parent focused and oriented. I am not here to tell you how to parent. I am here to help you understand yourself as a parent to help you improve the relationship with your child. We will work to identify your goals and identify life and mindfulness skills to move you forward within yourself.

I enjoy working to help parents develop the relationship they want to have with their children by working on themselves first. I work to come from a non judgement perspective to help you work forward through the pain points in your life to help you be the parent you want to be.

Motivational Coaching

Motivational coaching is an evidence-based approach to helping individuals identify their underlying motivations and use them to reach their life goals. This type of coaching focuses on understanding the individual’s core values, beliefs and passions, as well as how these relate to the specific goals that the individual has set for themselves. Through motivational coaching, individuals can gain insight into their feelings, thoughts and behaviors so that they can create a plan of action to achieve success. This type of coaching is most effective when used in combination with other forms of therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or life coaching, to ensure that the individual’s motivation remains strong throughout the process. While motivational coaching is often used to help individuals reach their goals, it can also be used to boost self-confidence and improve personal relationships. By understanding oneself better, individuals can develop the skills needed to live a more fulfilling life. Additionally, motivational coaching helps to create positive habits and behaviors that will benefit the individual in future endeavors. Ultimately, with the guidance of an experienced coach, individuals can gain the confidence and support needed to achieve their goals.

Coaching and therapy are two distinct areas of mental health support. While these services are both designed to help people achieve their goals and improve their lives, there are some key differences between them. Coaching focuses on improving current skills and behaviors in order to reach specific objectives, while therapy is more focused on getting to the root cause of issues that may be hindering progress or happiness.

When it comes to coaching versus therapy, the main difference is what each one seeks to accomplish. Coaching is a goal-oriented process where clients work with a coach in order to develop new skills or habits that will enable them to meet certain goals they have set for themselves. The primary focus of coaching is helping clients take actionable steps towards achieving whatever objectives they have chosen for themselves so that they can live happier and more fulfilling lives. On the other hand, therapy typically involves exploring deeper psychological issues like trauma or depression which can prevent someone from living life as fully as possible—and this exploration often requires delving into past events which may still be causing emotional pain today. Therapy works by providing individuals with tools and techniques to process these difficult feelings, while coaching focuses more on the present and helping clients develop strategies to reach their goals. Coaching is therefore less concerned with delving into the past and instead concentrates on taking proactive steps towards a better future. Additionally, unlike therapy which can be open-ended, coaches typically provide shorter-term support for specific
